Thecity marks the 20th anniversary of the merger this year.Aiming the future vision of the city, "a new creative city of peopleand greenery", we've put great effort into steady administrationand creating a city that people can call "hometown" by usingregional resources such as this bountiful environment, traditionsand cultures, traditional performing arts that take root in thecommunities.This commemorative magazine introduces the city's seasonalsights, history, traditions and cultures with parts of the scenes ofthe film made to mark the 20th anniversary: "The Akiruno Story:Journey in sky blue ".
